What Plansam keeps about you, who can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it. In short: we keep what you need to plan trips together, and nothing else.

What we keep

Your email address, your name and initials, and, if you add them, your photo, a few words about you and your birthday. Your home time zone and currency. The trips you're on, with their days, items, places, notes, tasks, payments and comments. What you paste or upload to fill in a trip, such as a booking email or a screenshot. A log of who changed what in a trip, so others can see what's new and changes can be undone.

Who sees it

A trip is only seen by the people on it. Viewers can read and comment; only owners and editors can change things. Your photo, bio and birthday are shown only to the people you pick under Profile. We don't look at your trips, except when you ask us for help.

Services we use

Supabase keeps the database and files, in London. Vercel runs the website, also in London. Our emails go through an email service only to send you sign-in codes. Geoapify finds places, routes and maps (from OpenStreetMap). Frankfurter gives exchange rates and gets no data about you.

AI

When you ask the AI to read a booking or plan a day, that text goes to an AI model through OpenRouter. We only use paid models that don't train on it or keep it. The AI never changes your trip by itself: you check its suggestions first.

Cookies

Only two kinds: one keeps you signed in, one remembers light or dark. No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Deleting your account keeps shared trips working for the others. Until buttons for this are in the app, write to us and we'll do it within a month.
